Stone Placement at The Highground

-On Saturday, July 13th, the Legacy Stone Placement Ceremony took place at The Highground.Hearts were warmed by the stories of the great veterans that stood among the visitors that day.
Bonita Koeberl, Neillsville, was the contact person arranging four family member stones to be placed close to ?Fragments? the Vietnam Tribute.
Sgt. Dennis Axelsen, Spc5 Ronald Axelsen, Sgt David Birge and Sp4 Gregory Koeberl were honored with their stone placements. Carroll Ervin Kelsh, Humbird was also honored with a stone by his family members.
The Jensen family brought Boy Scout Troop 71, Elk Mound to present colors of which included his grandson. This ceremony brought families together from surrounding areas and beyond as they created a large reunion in the picnic area.
