Coronavirus Numbers for November 11th

-Taking a look at some local coronavirus numbers:

Clark County has seen a total of 1,365 positive cases.  Of those, 342 are currently active and 102 needed to be hospitalized.  Clark County has 23 people die from the virus.  Wood has seen a total of 2,662 positive cases.  Of those 714 are active.  Wood has had 16 people die from the virus.

The state has seen a total of 278,843 positive cases (an increase of 7,073 over the previous day) and 2,395 deaths, an increase of 66 over the previous day.  Of the positive cases, 13,230, or 4%, have been hospitalized.  For our other neighboring counties, in total, Chippewa has seen 2,984 positive, Eau Claire has seen 5,223 positive, Jackson has seen 931 positive, Marathon has seen 7,096 positive and Taylor has seen 726 positive.

Marathon has had 82 people die from the virus; Chippewa has had 31 people die from the virus; Eau Claire has had 35 people die from the virus; Taylor has had 10 people die from the virus; and Jackson has had 2 people die from the virus.
