Local Recipients of Herb Kohl Education Foundation Scholarships/Fellowships

The selection committee for the Herb Kohl Educational Foundation Student Scholarship, Teacher Fellowship and Principal Leadership program has announced recipients of the 317 Herb Kohl Foundation awards for Wisconsin students, teachers and principals.
Awards in the amount of $6,000 are being made to 101 teachers, 16 principals, and their schools, and $10,000 scholarships will be given to 200 graduating high school students. A local recipient of the Herb Kohl Educational Foundation Student Excellence Scholar includes Katlyn Lindner of the Loyal High School.
Local recipients of the Herb Kohl Educational Foundation Student Initiative Scholars include Haley Adkins of Holcombe and a student at the Stanley-Boyd High School, Mya Beyerl of the Loyal Elementary School, and Elizabeth Lehr of Owen and a student at the Owen-Withee High School.
Finally, local recipients of the Herb Kohl Educational Foundation Teacher Fellows include Shelly Schmitz from Granton of the Granton Area District and Lisa Westaby of Owen from the Owen-Withee Elementary School. Diane Kujak at Alma Center-Humbird-Merrillan High School was also named a Herb Kohl Educational Fellow.
