Business As Usual at Loyal School Board Meeting

-It was business as usual for the Loyal School District at their school board meeting last week.The board approved loaning hearing equipment to St. Anthony?s school for a hearing impaired student and they approved the purchase of a Polycom unit for distance learning through a CESA 10 grant. The grant will pay half the cost.
The board approved the construction of a solid wall in the cafeteria to create another classroom space. Currently, only a folding wall separates the area.
After accepting several bids, TRANE will be Loyal?s HVAC provider for another 3 years.
It was also decided that all school board members are going to have school email accounts created and letters of intent were issued to all support staff.
The board also approved a new Elementary math curriculum known as Math Expressions and the board approved the final reading of the district Technology Plan, which is a policy regarding staff use of social media, and a Return to Work Policy.
