Coronavirus Numbers for February 26th

For local coronavirus numbers:

Clark County has seen a total of 3,154 positive incases, an increase of 1 over yesterday.  Of the total number of cases, 23 are currently active.  Clark County has had 57 people die from the virus.

The state has seen a total of 562,151 positive cases (an increase of 840 over the previous day) and 6,394 deaths, an increase of 52 over the previous day.  Of the positive cases, 25,954, or 4%, have been hospitalized.

More than 411,000 Wisconsin residents have finished their vaccine series for COVID-19.  According to preliminary state Department of Health Services’ data, there have been 411,717 Wisconsinites fully vaccinated, or have received both doses of the COVID-19 shot, to date.  DHS notes that 1,281,901 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine has been administered in all.

In total, Chippewa has seen 7,021 positive and 92 deaths.

Eau Claire has seen 10,977 positive and 104 deaths.

Jackson has seen 2,578 positive and 23 deaths.

Marathon has seen 13,635 positive and 176 deaths.

Taylor has seen 1,797 positive and 21 deaths.

Wood has seen 6,682 positive and 73 deaths.
