Wide Variety of Activities this Memorial Day Weekend

-With Memorial Day Weekend here, there are plenty of things for you to do over the three day weekend.

On the 25th and 26th you can tour the Historic Reed School for free. They are located on the corner of Hwy 10 and Cardinal Avenue east of Neillsville and tours are available from 10am to 4pm. This is a perfect opportunity to tour an ?old-school? one room school house that was built back in the early 1900s.

Also on the 26th, you can tour the 1897 Clark County Jail Museum from 1pm to 4pm. They are located on East Fifth Street here in Neillsville. Tour the historic museum and see the large collection of pictures that tell a unique story of the Clark County area. Plus, this will be a great opportunity for you learn more about Natalie Erpenbach and Steve Robert?s book Images of America: Clark County being released on Monday.

Tufts Mansion will be open for Tours as well. Tufts is located on Hewett Street here in Neillsville. You can tour the building between 2pm and 4pm.

Hatfield will be holding one if its summer Flea Markets, Munson Bridge Winery will have a free music night on Saturday and there are numerous campgrounds open in the area if you?re interested in camping this weekend.

Also, there are numerous bars, restaurants, gift shops, and other places open for business and ready to serve you.

There are several Memorial Day Ceremonies happening in the various communities this Monday including Neillsville, Greenwood, Loyal, Thorp and more.

The Highground will be holding its annual Memorial Day Ceremony as well starting at 10:30.

These are just a few of many different things going on this weekend.
