Medford Teen Fails to Show for Court Appearance

-A Medford teen allegedly involved in a threat made at the Medford School District failed to appear at a motion hearing in Taylor County Court on Tuesday.The 17-year-old allegedly lied to school officials back in February saying she had overheard a bomb threat in the girls? bathroom at the district.
As a result over 72% of the student body at Medford was absent on February 22nd. She was arrested on that Friday and charges of obstructing an officer and bail jumping were filed against her.
The student entered a plea of not guilty to the charges and a 1000 dollar signature bond was set against her. As an added condition to her bond, the court ordered that she live with her mother in Hurly.
A body only bench warrant has been issued for the student.
