Many Caring Donors at Neillsville Blood Drive

-The Red Cross extends its appreciation to the many caring blood donors and volunteers with in the community.Because of them the Red Cross Blood Drive at the American Legion on Monday succeeded in collecting 87 pints of life saving blood. This blood may help save the lives of over 261 patients.
Several individuals have given enough blood for their totals to reach the gallons amount. Wayne Opelt has given 12 gallons, Richard Lewis gave 7 gallons, 5 gallons was given by Angie Ziegler, 4 gallons from Dean Swett and Diane Opelt, Eli Gingerich gave 2 gallons and 1 gallon has been given by Sandra Piskow and Sydney Colwell. Jeannie Strangfeld was a fist time donor at the event.
And speaking of blood drives, there is a blood drive today at the Black River Memorial Hospital from 10am to 3pm in Black River Falls.
