Clark County Friends of the Fairgrounds Meeting

-The Clark County Friends of the Fairgrounds met on Tuesday evening.The group met at the Clark County Fairgrounds to see firsthand some of the work that needs to be done. Many projects are on hold at this moment because of the long-lasting winter, but with the impending warm up, many of the projects are expected to start.
The group is still looking for local 4-H, FFA, and other community group members to help with some of the projects. Many of the projects discussed at the previous meeting were reiterated at this meeting, but a few new ones were mentioned like the painting of the Clark County Fairgrounds signs.
Some work was done on the bathrooms of the arena building including painting and plumbing, but work on the partitions and ceiling still needs to be done. However, most of the budget for the year was used on the bathroom alone.
Work on the PA system has started and a part of the new system was used during the recent horse sale at the fairgrounds. The outside work will be done when the weather gets warmer.
