Black River Falls Man Makes Initial Appearance for Sexual Assault

-A Black River Falls man made an initial appearance in Jackson County court for allegedly sexually assaulting two inmates.Gregg Twesme, a former sergeant at the Black River Correctional Center, allegedly assaulted two inmates while they were on work duty in January.
One inmate said that while he was working in a wooded area, Twesme lead him deep into the woods and sexually assaulted him. A second inmate came forward and told a similar story.
Twesme apparently quit working at the Black River Correctional Center last month.
During the initial appearance a 5,000 dollar signature bond was set and he was ordered not to have any contact with his alleged victims.
Future court dates were set for May.
