-According to the Wisconsin Ag Connection, Wisconsin dairy farmers produced more milk in March compared to the same month in 2012.

According to the USDA's monthly milk production report, the Dairy State put out 2.4 billion pounds of milk last month, up three percent from last March, and more than February's 2.15 billion pounds.

Nationally, 16.4 billion pounds of milk was produced in the 23 major dairy states, down a slight 0.1 percent from March 2012, but 11 percent more than last month which only had 28 days on the calendar.
