Business Survey To Assess Broadband Needs And Gaps
Saturday, April 13th, 2013 -- 7:41 AM
The Wisconsin Technology Council is supporting a business survey administered by the Public Service Commission to assess broadband needs and gaps in Wisconsin. The goal is to provide accurate data to providers and policy leaders at the local and state level for future broadband planning.
The Business Broadband Survey is available right now through April 17th.
Regional leaders, including the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp., have been working with the PSC and LinkWISCONSIN to improve information about internet accessibility, speed, and cost for businesses around the state.
Your responses will help identify where service is good (potential best practice sharing) and where there may be a need for improved service.
Results will be used to map service delivery levels, communicate needs to the provider community, and provide data for discussion and development of a statewide policy and future broadband initiatives.
