Greenwood School Board Meeting Update

The Greenwood School Board approved several hiring?s and resignations at their Monday School Board Meeting.The board approved Wayne Fleischmann as a volunteer, Darla Abel as a long term sub for High School Ag Teacher, Lindsey Meissner, and approved the contracts for Angie Moeller and Amanda Schlough who will be sharing an assistant softball coach position.
The board also approved the resignations of Nick Akers the assistant softball coach and Marie Eckdahl who?s been the JV volleyball coach for 22 years. The board thanked both individuals for their time and dedication to the students and the school district.
Two field trips to the Body Works Exhibit and the Festival of Nations were approved.
Finally, the board approved to pay $16 per class period when a teacher subs for another teacher during his/her prep time.
