Chiminey Fire In Neillsville Tuesday

A chimney fire in Neillsville on Tuesday evening caused water and smoke damage.The fire occurred around 7:15pm at W7898 on County Road B.
The fire started in the fire place and got into the attic. There was damage to the attic area. The Neillsville Fire department had to cut a hole in the roof.
The department was on scene for 1 hour and 15 minutes and the used 1200 gallons of water to extinguish the flames.
No one was injured in the incident and there was water and smoke damage
