Local FFA "Stars Over Wisconsin"

-The FFA Center and Department of Public Instruction announced their ?Stars Over Wisconsin? candidates.Some local residents in the running for Star Farmer include Carissa Haffenbredl of Marshfield and Kevin Welke of Osseo-Fairchild.
Local students nominated for the Star in Ag Placement include Eric Heeg of Marshfield, Taran Brody of Neillsville, and Kevin Welke of Osseo-Fairchild.
Each of the candidates will receive a plaque, with the top winners of each award also earning cash prizes. The finalists were selected according to the amount of money earned in their Supervised Agricultural Experience Program.
The winners will be honored this summer in Madison during the organization's state convention taking place at the Alliant Energy Center, June 11-13.
