Kandy Girl Open in Marshfield

-There?s a new store in Marshfield that can help you satisfy your sweet tooth.Kandy Girl, located at 401 South Central Avenue in Marshfield, has a wide range of sweets, chocolates, and other goodies.
It has been a dream of Sheryl Young, owner of Kandy Girl, to open up an old fashioned candy store. "About 20 years ago, I would say when I was in high school, I decided that I wanted to open up a candy store after going to a candy store that was around our high school. We use to go there on our lunch time. I just thought it would be really cool to have something like this and a neighbor friend of ours also had a candy store and I always just admired that."
Kandy Girl officially opened its doors on February 14th. Sheryl has received many compliments from patrons and the community. "Its been really great! I've had a lot of comments in reference to how the place reminds the older generation of their childhood because I have older displays and because of the way I have it set up. My intent was that if you come in here with a smile, I want you to have a bigger smile when you leave. And if you don't come in with a smile, I want you to have a smile when you leave. That's my thing."
Sheryl has several favorites in her store, but one of her top favorites was something she never use to like before.
Sheryl did confess to me, however, that her ?favorite? candy usually changes from week to week as she tries new things.
