Room Tax for Parks and Recreation Department Discussed at Neillsville City Council Meeting

-The Neillsville City Council approved funds from the Room Tax to the Parks and Recreation Department at their recent meeting.The parks department plans to use that money for a playground structure at the Listeman Park.
Also at the end of the meeting, Police Chief Lindner gave a brief report. He mentioned that one of Neillsville?s newest officers returned from military training. He is expected to be riding by himself by next month.
The Neillsville Police Department also had increased enforcement during the Winter Carnival, but there were no problems.
Finally, he mentioned that the department is expecting their new car by the end of March or beginning of April.
