Free Hazardous Waste Handling and Disposal Class in Marshfield

-There will be a free hazardous waste handling and disposal class in Marshfield next week.Wisconsin Administrative Code REQUIRES facilities, including tribal governments that use products containing hazardous chemicals, to provide training to ?ensure that all employees are thoroughly familiar with proper waste handling, disposal and emergency procedures, relevant to their responsibilities during normal facility operations and emergencies.?
This FREE training provides information on the management and proper disposal of products such as fluorescent lamps, mercury switches, laboratory chemicals, oils, antifreeze, paints, thinners, cleaners, corrosives (acids & bases) and poisons. The training is open to state agencies, tribal governments, K-12 public schools, technical schools and municipal employees.
On March 21st, the session will be held at UW-Marshfield.
