-Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers of Clark County is using the month of March to bring awareness to their amazing organization.Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers of Clark County is a non-profit, faith-based organization whose mission is to develop and maintain a coalition of congregations and organizations, with trained volunteers, who provide support, assistance, and referral to the older adults throughout Clark County.
Judy Morrow, Director of Staff and Secretary of the Board, has a strong passion for Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers and told me about the organization and what the volunteers do. "The definition of a volunteer is a very caring person who will go in and do what ever the needs are of the senior citizen or disable person. And that volunteer can give once a month, once a week, just once. Whatever we can match up to help somebody out."
Judy said that you don?t have to be in an organization to help the elderly or disabled. Just checking in on your neighbor and helping can make a huge difference.
Interfaith Caregiver of Clark County is in need of volunteers so if you?re interested call Judy Morrow at 715-743-2885.
