Loyal School Board Approves Sharing Teachers

-The Loyal School Board approved the sharing of two teachers at their Wednesday meeting.The Loyal School Board has been talking with the Granton School Board for a while now on sharing teachers. They recently had a joint school board meeting with Granton to negotiate salary, contracts, and other items for the shared teachers.
Many Loyal residents were against the idea of sharing teachers, but District Administrator Cale Jackson pointed out that with the upcoming budget, they don?t have a lot of options.
Loyal and Granton will be sharing music and social studies teacher.
The board also approved their spring coaches and their school calendar for 2013-2014.
They also discussed the upcoming Clark County Education Summit on March 28th and they talked about Govenor Walker?s new budget.
