Man Sentenced for Sexual Assault in Clark County

-A man has been sentenced for sexually assaulting a girl in Clark County Court.Christopher Shinkle was accused of sexually assaulting a girl and he eventually fathered a child with her.
He was charged with the crime last year. According to court documents he assaulted the girl for two years starting in 1997. The girl was 13 at the time and she told police that Shinkle had threatened to throw her out of the house is she didn?t comply. She gave birth to his baby when she was 15.
Shinkle will spend twenty years in prison and must pay the court almost 2,000 dollars in court costs and fines.
