Former Clearwaters Hotel Receives New Name

-A new name has been chosen for the former Clearwaters Hotel in Marshfield.The hotel will be known as Hotel Marshfield and Rick Roehl, President of Roehl Transport, said, ?We felt so strongly about bringing this hotel back for the community that the name seemed a natural.?
Rick is an investor of the Marshfield Hospitality, LLC, which is the group that acquired the hotel last year after they filed for bankruptcy.
The hotel is currently going through massive renovations, but is expected to reopen this summer. When completed the hotel will have 99 rooms, nine of which will be extended stay suites; expansive meeting and banquet space, a transformed restaurant and lounge, and a beautifully landscaped courtyard with an outdoor pool area.
The Hotel Marshfield is expected to fill gaps, identified in a report, regarding travelers demands which has increased steadily in the Marshfield area that past few years.
