Red Cross Blood Drive in Greenwood Today

-Blood donors are everyday heroes who help save lives.During March, Red Cross Month, the American Red Cross recognizes these lifesavers, thanks them for their generosity and encourages others to join their ranks.
March was first proclaimed Red Cross Month in 1943 by former President Franklin Roosevelt.
Since then, every president, including President Barack Obama, has designated March as Red Cross Month. The Red Cross has been helping people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies for more than 130 years.
There are some local opportunities for you to donate blood. They?ll be at the Greenwood High School today from 9am to 2pm. They?ll also be at the Granton High School on Wednesday, March 13th from 12pm to 5pm.
