Monday, March 4th, 2013 -- 8:32 AM
-The Neillsville City Council heard a report from the Heritage Days Committee at their recent meeting. The committee was updated on entertainment for Saturday afternoon. Front Porch Swing and Phil Golembiewski will probably be the entertainment for the festivities.
Alice in Dairyland will be available for Sunday, July 14th. The committee is also going to check and see if she will be available for the parade. The parade may also have a Grand Marshall this year.
The committee also discussed signage for the parade and because military training is occurring that week, there will be no military vehicles in the parade this year.
The Neillsville Heritage Days Golf Outing was scheduled for Saturday July, 13th from 9:00am to Noon.
Finally, a donation was accepted from the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary for Heritage Days and a presentation was given on possibly having a Derby Car Race for Heritage Days this year. The committee approved to move forward with the Derby Car Race.
