Kwik Trip's Alternative Fuel Presentation in Neillsville

-Representative from Kwik Trip?s Alternative Fuels Department presented the Neillsville Community with compressed natural gas as an alternative fuel source.The presentation, held at the Neillsville American Legion, started off with a brief history of Kwik Trip.
It then continued with information about naturally gas, informing those in attendance that CNG is abundant, with current sources lasting well over 100 years, is environmentally friendly and very quiet. CNG is also very safe, needing 1200 degrees to ignite compared to the 4 or 5 hundred for regular fuels.
The main thing is that it's economically viable. The current price for CNG is 1.59 a gallon compared to the 3.74 we're currently paying for gas.
Kwik Trip is leading company in alternative fuel sources and they want the customer to have the same experience filling up with CNG as they do with regular fuel.
The question the Kwik Trip will be answering now: Is there an interest for CNG here? Can we bring it here? What is the demand?
In building the new facility here in Neillsville, there are no immediate plans to bring CNG here, but it could happen in the future.
