SCADA System Discussed at Neillsville City Council Meeting

-Dave Flynn, Director of Public Works for Neillsville, gave a report at the Neillsville City Council meeting on Tuesday.Dave mentioned the usual small town work that?s been done the past couple weeks including cemetery work, equipment maintenance, snow removal, patching pot holes, opening storm drains, and more.
A snow blower had to be fixed by a Cummins Diesel service technician from Eau Claire. The technician fixed some electrical issues, replaced a solenoid, replaced a temperature sensor, and an oil sensor. Dave said the bill will probably be a big one as the job took two trips and 9 hours to complete.
Finally, Dave told the council that the SCADA System is now online and fully operational. Two representatives from Automatic Systems Company, David Hanson and Denis Sarri, were present at the meeting to explain to the council the work they did on the system.
At a previous meeting, the council was unhappy with a change order that needed to be done on the system because the engineers missed those items when they did the work. However, the council had a better understanding after the presentation and thanked them for their work.
