-There?s a new group forming in Clark County. The Professional ladies of Clark County will provide networking, education, and other information for women in the County that may need assistance in starting a business or other ventures.
Diane Murphy, Neillsville resident and one of the founders of the group told me how it started. "We were up at a group meeting in Owen regarding economic development issues and a bunch of us business people were talking and all at once, I just threw it out there, maybe we should form a group and call it the Professional Ladies of Clark County. This way we could help each other and give each other ideas in our business world and see if there's something someone else can use that they may not have thought of."
Sheila Nyberg, another founder of the group and Executive Director of the Clark County Economic Development Corporation outlined the purpose of the group. "The idea of county wide is allowing everyone to network. The ladies we were talking to that day, that we put this idea together, they were just sharing things that they know. We were thinking, that's something that someone else would really appreciate knowing. So, it's really a networking of education and connections and information that people can learn from each other."
Diane put it best in regarding what this group hopes to accomplish. ?Let?s use this group to get things done.?
