-The Clark County Economic Development Corporation was able to pass on the EMSI Analyst data for Clark County due to new partnerships formed with the WCWRPC and WEDC.For the 2011-2012 data, Clark County had a population just shy of 35,000 people and was just shy of 17,000 jobs. The average earnings for the county were just over 32,000 dollars and the number of unemployed was just over 1,000 people.
The GRP for the county was just over 822 million dollars, the exports were around 1,700,000,000 dollars, and the imports were around 2,030,000,000 dollars.
As for the population?s age, the biggest age group at 8.3% of the population, or 2,890 people, is the age 5-9 group. In second place was the under 5 years old age group at 8.2% or 2,867 people and in third place is the 10 to 14 age group. The lowest age group was the 80 to 84 year olds with 2.4% of the population or 831 people.
