-A Wisconsin Rapids man was found guilty for various charges regarding his involvement in the kidnapping of a Rapids woman.Back in December, Lee Winchester, age 30, got into an argument with a woman, forced his way into a vehicle after she locked herself in side, and drove away. He finally let her go in Marshfield.
The kidnapping charge that was initially filed against him was dropped leaving one felony charge of driving a vehicle without consent and three misdemeanor charges of criminal damage and two counts of disorderly conduct.
The felony charge was dismissed, but read into the record and Winchester was found guilty of the three misdemeanor charges due to a no contest plea.
Winchester must serve 2 years of probation, follow all terms of his probation, and owes the courts almost 1500 dollars.
