Owen Woman Found Guilty of Delivering Drugs to Inmate

-An Owen woman has been found guilty of delivering drugs to her adult son in prison.Back in October, Cathleen Shook, age 57, arrived at the Stanley Prison with her 4-year-old granddaughter to visit her son, Robert Bounds Jr., age 40.
During the visit, Shook attempted to deliver a large quantity of Tramadol, a prescription medication, to Bounds.
Shook was caught and had two felony charges of delivering an illegal article to an inmate and delivering prescription drugs filed against her. She also had two misdemeanor charges of violating county institution laws and possession of illegally obtained prescription drugs filed against her.
She was found guilty of the two felony charges due to a no contest plea. The two misdemeanors were dismissed, but read into the record.
Shook must serve 250 hours of community service and if she fails, at the community service, she will spend 90 days in jail. She will also spend 3 years on probation, must follow all the terms of her probations, and must pay various court costs and fines.
