Area FFA Members Receive Grants

$18,600 has been awarded to Wisconsin FFA members in Supervised Agricultural Experience program grants this month.The SAE programs apply the concepts learned in the agricultural education classroom and the skills developed through FFA membership to individual experiential learning projects.
The grants were awarded in four different SAE categories: aquaculture, dairy, organic agriculture and start-up grants.
From our area, dairy SAE grants in the amount of $1,000 were awarded to Kathryn Lampi and Jade Pinter of Owen-Withee while a $500 SAE grant was awarded to Bradley Dorshorst of Auburndale.
