Impact of Clark County Fair, Day 2

-A report on the economic impact of the Clark County Fair was given at the recent Neillsville City Council Meeting.

The raw data showed that a wide variety of people attended the Clark County Fair. The data showed that there was a variety in age, income, education level, and much more.

Taking a closer look at some of the statistics, the numbers regarding the amount of time people spent at the fair was consistent with 23% spending one day there and 24% staying all five days.

Most people surveyed have been attending the fair for 2-10 years at 35% and only 8% of those surveyed had been at the fair for the first time last summer. About 8% of the people surveyed have also been attending the fair for over 50 years.

The survey also found that the average group size coming to the fair was 3, but the most common number was 2 at 26%.

The data showed that the age of those coming to the fair was over 19 years old with 62% of females and 59% of males. The age of both men and women coming to the fair were very consistent as well, with the numbers being no more than 3% points away from one another.
