Former Hotel and Convention Center in Marshfield to Reopen Spring of 2013

-A former Hotel and Convention Center will reopen in the spring of 2013.The Clearwaters Hotel and Convention Center in Marshfield closed in January of 2012 after the former owners filed a bankruptcy petition in the summer of 2011.
The hotel was sold to the Marshfield Hospitality LLC in May for 2.75 million dollars.
Marshfield Hospitality is affiliated with Roehl Transport, a trucking company, and they frequently purchase hotels for use by their employees.
The company is very excited to bring the hotel back to the community.
The new owner is working with Madison-based hotel consulting firm IDM Group LLC to redevelop the hotel.
No new rooms will be added to the hotel, but the 103 existing rooms and the restaurant, lounge and dining areas will be updated.
