Wisconsin Department of Agriculture Accepting 66th Alice in Dairyland Applications

-If you enjoy delivering speeches, meeting people, traveling and working with school children, then you may want to consider applying to become Wisconsin's 66th Alice in Dairyland.Applicants must be a Wisconsin resident and at least 21 years of age before June 1, 2013. Due to the professional demands of the position, applicants must possess education, training, or experience in communications, marketing, agriculture, public relations, or a combination of these.
Knowledge or experience in planning and executing public relations or marketing campaigns is a plus. The preferred candidate will also have the ability to discuss Wisconsin's agricultural products and issues facing agriculture in both rural and urban environments. Public speaking skills are essential to the position.
The annual salary is $40,000, plus travel expenses and individual health insurance reimbursement. Applications are due on January 11.
