Community Wide Event Planning Session on Sunday

-The Neillsville Chamber of Commerce has several important events coming up.On Sunday, October 28th, the Chamber will have its Community Wide Event Planning Session at Tufts? Mansion.
Deanna Heiman, Executive Director of the Neillsville Chamber of Commerce, talked about the purpose of the event. "In the past, we've talked about ways to really increase the size of our events, plus provide ways for non-profits and other organizations to take advantage of the number of people that come into our community to participate in our events."
Deanna also said that this is a great way for those that plan events to get theirs on the calendar and let people know if they want other events with them or not. "Getting together and talking about calendars; some organizations prefer to have their events on their own and they don't want to conflict with anybody else, so then it gives them the opportunity to say we've got this date reserved and we'd rather not have anything else going on in the community and that's fine and we respect that. And other people want to get as many activities going to bring even more people into the community and make it a large scale event."
Deanna said that any organization that?s interested can attend. "We're looking at groupds like the Lion's Club, Rotary, Interfaith Caregivers of Clark County, The Boys and Girls Scouts, any of our local churches as they have organizations that try and raise funds."
School groups like FFA, FBLA, and others are also welcome as well as the business owners.
The events starts at 6:30 at Tufts? Mansion on Sunday.
