Clark County Sheriff's Department Role in Apprehension of Weston Murder Suspect

-The Clark County Sheriff?s Department has released more information regarding their part in the apprehension of the Weston murder suspect.The department received the report that a homicide suspect could be on his way to Clark County at twenty past eight on Saturday.
An Abbotsford Police officer located the vehicle and a chase ensued. The chase was discontinued when the officer lost sight of the vehicle.
After the sheriff?s department received a report about suspicious activity near Meadow Drive in Abbotsford, the suspect?s vehicle was located.
The Clark County SWAT team responded with officers from Taylor County, Marathon County, Spencer, Abbotsford, Medford, Greenwood, Loyal, the State Patrol, and Marathon County?s SWAT team.
A perimeter was established and K9 Units located the man a short distance from his vehicle in the woods.
The suspect was taken into custody without incident.
