Marshfield Man Arrested for Threatening to Set Woman on Fire

-A Marshfield man has been arrested after threatening to set a Marshfield woman on fire.This past Saturday in the afternoon, a 23-year-old man doused a 28-year-old woman, with gasoline, threatened to burn her, and then punched her in the stomach several times.
The woman did try to escape several times and she told the police that the man even strangled her at one point. Police also said that the woman is pregnant.
The man was arrested and taken to Marathon County Jail.
He could face charges of attempted abortion, first degree recklessly endangering safety, false imprisonment, and strangulation.
He will also face drug charges as police found heroin when they searched him.
