-Wisconsin wildlife officials are looking for the public's thoughts on revisions to the state's endangered species list. The Department of Natural Resources is considering adding eight plants and animals to the list and removing 16 others. The agency is inviting businesses, developers, scientists and citizens to submit comments on the changes' economic effects through Oct. 24.
Among the species the DNR wants to take off the list are the barn owl, the snowy egret, bog bluegrass, hemlock parsley and yellow giant hyssop. Proposed additions include the black tern, Kirtland's warbler, the beach-dune tiger beetle and the fawnsfoot mussel.
