Saratoga Stands Firm

-Officials in Saratoga, in neighboring Wood County, are standing firm on their statement that a large animal farm is not allowed in their community.A draft of a zoning ordinance was approved on Monday by the Plan Commission.
The Wysocki Family of Companies has proposed buying land in Saratoga to bring an 8,000 acre farm into the area. The idea has not been met with optimism by local residents
However, the land is on a rural preservation area, which doesn't allow large farms and this decision made Monday night, keeps that rule in place.
The zoning ordinance will now go to the full board for approval.
