Drug Bust in Wood County

-The Wood County Sheriff?s Department, after continued investigation, has uncovered outdoor marijuana grows of a 56-year-old Babcock man.The man had been growing marijuana for several years and an estimated 483 plants, weapons, and drug paraphernalia items were seized from the residence.
The plant yield is an estimated quarter of a million dollars.
This investigation also led to another outdoor grows and arrest of a 51-year-old man at a nearby residence. Drugs and drug paraphernalia was also discovered and seized.
Charges will be filed with the Wood County District Attorney.
