MORE INFO: Construction Worker Killed on I-94

-A construction worker was killed early Monday morning on while working on I-94.The Wisconsin State Patrol responded to I-94 eastbound near Mile Marker 39 for a report of a subject who was lying on the ground unresponsive who had possibly been electrocuted.
Upon arrival, it was determined that 34-year-old Joseph Janisch, from Ellsworth, employed by Highway Technologies, was working on replacing guard rails.
He was in contact with a piece of construction equipment that struck an overhead power line.
Janisch was transported to Mayo Hospital Menomonie where he passed away.
