Neillsville School Board Preparing for the New School Year

-The Neillsville School Board is getting ready for the 2012-2013 school year.Board members approved the insurance agency Aflac to give a presentation regarding health care insurance for the school employees.
They also approved the bus routes for this year which include 9 country, 3 Kindergarten, and 1 disabled route.
They also approved their milk bid, which did change from last year, as the bid by Morning Glory was lower than the bid by Kemps which is what the school has been using. The board also approved three federal food service contracts so they can continue to receive the federal dollars provided by the programs.
The board also accepted the donation of 2500 dollars that was provided by the Shopko Hometown Foundation and stability balls for Kindergarten students to use during their work periods provided by Melissa Strangfeld and Starbucks of Wisconsin. Over 650 dollars was also released to the class of 2012 from their class account.
Finally, the board approved the resignation of Jackie Adams and Scott Sweden and the hiring of Teresa Masoncik, the new 1st grade teacher.
