One Vehicle Crash in Wood County

-There was a one vehicle accident on County Highway G in Wood County Thursday afternoon.The crash occurred in the Town of Port Edwards near the Juneau County Line.
A vehicle driven by Christine Petrick, age 60 of New Lisbon, was traveling south on G when she failed to negotiate a curve and left the roadway.
After striking several trees, the vehicle came to a rest and a passerby called the police.
The occupant was removed from the vehicle using the Jaws of Life and flown to St. Joseph?s Hospital in Marshfield.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash, but the investigation is still on going.
