-Alexander Lee has been sentenced for his part in a vicious home invasion that occurred back in February of this year.Judge Nicholas Brazeau Jr. sentenced Lee to 10 years in prison with 5 years of extended supervision to follow for the charge of battery with a weapon. He was also sentenced to 8 years? probation, which will follow after his time in prison and the years of supervision, for the burglary charge. Also, between restitution and court costs, Lee owes over $40,000.
His victim, Lance Poeschel asked for the maximum not for himself, but for his family as Lee had made threats towards Poeschel?s family.
Gerald Fox, the prosecuting attorney on this case did not ask for the maximum, hoping that Lee could turn his life around with the lower sentence as he is very young. However, Fox did quote a medical examiner who called Lee a sociopath, with no empathy towards others.
Judge Brazeau picked up on this, noting there was not one mention of sorry or guilt for the victim in Lee?s statement.
Lee stated that he has made many poor choices and chose a poor lifestyle. He is hoping that after his time in prison, he can get as far away from Wisconsin as possible.
