Neillsville sophomore Damien Luchterhand improved to 17-0 as he took 1st place at 140 pounds at the Northern Badger Wrestling Classic in River Falls yesterday. Damien won by decision over Zach Gillis of St. Croix Central 7-2. In the 189 pound final, Joe Raygor of St. Croix Falls won by decision over Dan Schoen of Neillsville 3-2. It was Dan's first loss of the season.
