Clark County Campgrounds, Parks, and Boat Landings Open; ATV/UTV and Off-Road Motorcycle Trails Opening Friday, May 10th

Friday, May 3rd, 2024 -- 2:00 PM

All Clark County Forestry & Parks, campgrounds and boat landings are open for the season.

The Clark County ATV/UTV Trails will open early this spring, at 8AM Friday May 10, 2024. Please use caution while riding the trails. There are still rough areas and some cleanup and trail grading is still taking place. Logging is active in the county forest and trucks will be hauling.

Be on the lookout for a town road closure due to road construction in the next couple of weeks on Bruce Mound Avenue between CTH B and intersection 5. The alternate route will be on CTH B to intersection 6.

Riders are reminded to stay on the trail, obey all signs, and to please ride responsibly. Knobby Ridge Motorcycle Trails will open early too at 8AM Friday May 10, 2024. Logging is active in the county forest and trucks will be hauling so please be cautious of equipment. Wild Rock horse trails and Levis/Trow Mound trails are currently open.

Street legal motorcycles, driven by licensed drivers, are allowed on the ATV/UTV trail system. Non-street legal motorcycles are not allowed on the ATV/UTV trail system and may only be ridden on the Knobby Ridge Motorcycle Trails.

Clark County trails are subject to periodic closure; for updates on recent closures and/or openings please contact the Forestry and Parks Department at 715-743-5140, or visit the county website at www.clarkcountywi.gov for more information on our trail system.
