Clark County Board Approves Work Zone Safety Designation and Social Media Use Policy

The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved a designation at their meeting on Tuesday.

The board approved the designation of April 9th-13th as the 2018 Work Zone Awareness Week in Clark County. The Wisconsin County Highway Association is asking all of Wisconsin’s 72 counties to do this. The purpose of the campaign is to raise awareness for its workers, the traveling public, public safety workers and others.

The board also approved a resolution regarding their social media policy and procedures. The purpose is to provide standards and guidance regarding the use of social media platforms to support the county’s goals, objectives and missions.

Finally, the board had the 2nd reading of the ordinance amending Clark County Code of Ordinances, Chapter 12.
