Eau Claire Express Baseball Returns For 2021

After a 658 day hiatus due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Eau Claire Express will finally be returning to Carson Park on May 31, 2021 and intends to play its full 36-game home schedule at the historic venue starting at 50% capacity.

Express General Manager, Jacob Servais said, “Over the past six months we have been working closely with the city of Eau Claire and the Health Department to make this a reality and it is a breath of fresh air to finally say we will be welcoming fans back into the ballpark in just a few short weeks. I want to give a special shoutout to Dawn Comte, Mark Faanes, Alyssa Streveler and Jeff Robb for all of their time and efforts to make this happen.” 

He also said, “Our hope is that our newly added precautions do not affect the game day visit, but ultimately enhance the overall fan experience at Carson Park.”

Among the main points of emphasis in the “return to play plan” is that masks are strongly recommended while moving around the facility and social distancing will be in effect. Additional details on what to expect this season will also be released at a later date.
