Marshfield Man Arrested for Possession After Traffic Stop

A Marshfield man was arrested for possession after a traffic stop.
According to a report from the Marshfield Police Department, just after 9pm on Monday, a traffic stop was conducted in the 1600 block of N. Central Ave. During the course of the stop, K9 Mario responded to the scene and conducted a free air sniff of the vehicle.
K9 Mario indicated the presence of a controlled substance. A vehicle search was conducted and revealed several items of evidentiary value. Ultimately, a 26-year-old Marshfield male was arrested.
A request for charges will be sent to the Wood County District Attorney's Office for Possession of methamphetamine and possession of THC.
