-The Neillsville Fire Department responded to a possible barn fire this morning.
The department received the call just before 9am this morning. The fire was located at W5329 on Highway 73 in the Township of Levis. When the department arrived, they found a debris pile burning near a barn. The owner hadn’t called to let them know they were burning. Due to the high winds, the department did extinguish the flames.
The department was on scene for half an hour, they had no injuries on their part, they had no mutual aid from other fire departments and did receive some assistance from the Clark County Sheriff’s Department with traffic control.
